If you wish to look at some pictures in a comfortable manner, having a look at CSlide would be a good idea. It lets you view digital images in a comfortable manner and it can play them in a slideshow. The application is designed to be simple and straightforward. It doesn't do much, outside of making image viewing a more pleasant experience.
CSlide is absolutely free and you can have it up and running at a moment's notice. It doesn't need to be installed, so you only need to extract its components from a ZIP archive and run an executable. The hardware requirements are minimal and you don't have to install any special tools or services.
The user interface has a clean and simple design. It consists of an image preview area and a few controls, on the upper part of the window. All you have to do is target a pictures folder, through a standard Open option or drag and drop the folder over the Interface. This will import all contained images at a moment's notice, after which you can navigate back and forth, either with the arrow keys or by clicking the arrows on the desktop interface. Alternatively, you can hit the Play option and watch a slideshow.
A few extra options are available in a menu, which can be revealed in the upper right corner of the interface. These options allow you to make a few simple tweaks, like setting a slideshow timing, applying a grayscale effect or auto-rotating images.
If you want more options, you can access the application's general settings menu, where you will find a wide range of customization options, for the interface, format integration and others. You can make the interface borderless, colorize its borders, change its opacity and its colors, choose which buttons to display and more.
Viewing images is easier and more comfortable than with any basic tool when using CSlide.
Pros
The application has a simple design and a straightforward functionality. It provides you with various customization options for its user interface.
